Alexandros Louizos, MD,  MSc

Trainee vascular surgeon with Master’s in Nanotechnology, always on the hunt for the next big thing in medical technology. A great fan of artificial intelligence, he wants to create Dr Algorithm . Loves blue sky ideas and doers especially in interdisciplinary fields. He dreams of creating a technology that will look like magic to others (kudos to Arthur C. Clark for the line). Loves Peter’s Diamandis Laws.


Dr  Panagiotis Athanasopoulos, MD, PhD

Consultant general surgeon preparing to specialize on transplantations. Honest, great motivator, focused and skilled surgeon!  Doer, prepared to do whatever it takes to make it happen. Enjoys tennis, skiing, scuba diving and generally whatever requires tons of hand-eye coordination. Loves passionate people with great ideas and devotes himself to fruition of those ideas which can potentially change the world.

Charilaos M. Peitsinis, LLM

Attorney at law with LLM in University of Kent where he specialized in the field of international company law. Currently a PhD researcher in the field of Corporate Law and an great asset for AugMEDed movement. Loves politics and political debates (bad luck if you confront him in a debate, the only thing faster than his mind is the firing of his arguments). In his free time, well  he has no free time.  Through his partnership with Alexandros, he has perfected the art of caramel latte macchiato which has since then risen to legendary dimensions for its silk flavor and taste.


Veronika Louizos, MD
Veronika is a UK trainee in paediatrics with special interest in acute emergency medicine. Resourceful and enthusiastic, she has embraced the AugMEDed movement and is responsible for any UK AugMEDsters.  Creative to the bone, she creates challenges when there are not enough to illuminate her day! ‘The world’s most precious resource is the passionate and committed human mind’ and ‘when a mission is accomplished..just go for the next’ are some of her motos hanging over her desk… She loves sushi and jogging.
